S&K Natural Gourd Martin House Kit

Keep your S&K Bo Gourd or natural gourd looking and working well with the S&K Natural Gourd Martin House Kit. This kit contains all you need to add a porch or replacement entry to your home grown, natural gourd. The large front panel offers both a 1.875" round entrance hole and a 2.875" long crescent starling resistant entrance hole. Use the round entry to begin your colony, and change it to the crescent entrance once martins have been established, to prevent starlings from overtaking the home. Included plugs allow you to close an entry hole when not in use, for a safe gourd. A porch with perching rod rests at the front of the item, creating a landing spot for birds. A secondary porch attaches to the other side of the panel, designed to insert into the gourd for additional standing area in the home. An included access port cover acts as a replacement, should yours become lost or damaged, and helps to close the house when not performing nest checks.
